Percy Jackson Companion Book March 8, 2010 Julia Johnson (Mississippi) This is a very helpful book if you have no idea about the Greek gods and other things associated with these books.
A bit disappointing... March 5, 2010 Simba (Serengeti) I have to admit that I'm not a crazy Percy Jackson fan. Still, I read all the books, saw and liked the movie and was searching for some additional related material to enjoy.
The description of this Ultimate guide looked interesting. However, it turned out to be a disappointment - the book is really short and contain almost no new information - just a summary of the character background from the novels. Actually, the most interesting thing about the book is the changing image on the cover.
Overall, I think it might interest very young fans of Percy, but not the "young adults", for whom the franchise seems to be marketed.
Getting to know Percy Jakson February 28, 2010 B. J. Scira (Delaware, USA) If you have a Percy Jackson and the Olympians fan in your family, this little guide will be a lot of fun. With playing cards featuring many main characters, and chapters great text that introduces them and others. A real hit with my 13 year old daughter AND her best friend. Nicely priced. I would have loved to have a playing card included for every character. I thought that was a neat inclusion.
This Makes The Percy Jackson Series Complete February 17, 2010 Granny Emily (Oz) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Since the Percy Jackson adventures have no illustrations, this addition to the collection by Disney really enriched these wonderfully-written books by Riordan. Great job, Disney!
My son loved it! January 24, 2010 A. Dunn (Jacksonville, FL) 3 out of 5 found this review helpful
My son loves this little extra to the Percy Jackson series. He has loved learning about all the Gods and has commented that they don't look like what he imagined they would look like. I think this is a great addition to the series. I am pleased that I bought this for my son.
