Product Description Yucky music, great big feet. Ladies smelling way too sweet. Look at knees and stand in line. Llama Llama starts to whine. Does any child like to go shopping? Not Llama Llama! But Mama cant leave Llama at home, so off they go to Shop-O-Rama. Lots of aisles. Long lines. Mama is too busy to notice that Llama Llama is getting m-a-d! And before he knows it, hes having a full-out tantrum! Mama quickly calms him down, but she also realizes that they need to make shopping more fun for both of them. Parents and children are sure to recognize themselves in this fun-to-read follow-up to the popular Llama Llama Red Pajama.

4 year old loves it August 17, 2010 V. Martini (Queens, NY) my daughter is 4 and loves this book i got it for her a few months before she turned 4 and she has it memorized. her fave part is "please stop fussing little llama no more of this llama drama....". its a very cute book and she "reads" it to her 15 month old brother when he's in the crib.
broken book August 6, 2010 littlellama'smama 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
this is a wonderful story. the book that i received from amazon however was missing pages at the end so the book ended with llama llama having a temper tantrum instead of learning a lesson. not the best book to read my 2 year old............so you don't like shopping with mama? throw things out of the cart and scream. the end. amazon did offer to send me a return label, but could not replace it with a new book because they were "out of stock", yeah right. i decided to keep it just because it is so messed up that it's funny.
The BEST Book! July 23, 2010 Mommy of Ito I bought this book for my son when he was 5...we loved it then and still love it now and he is 7...it's his favorite book! A must read for any mommy dealing with a fussy little one...a definite add to your personal library!
mama lama has no parenting skills July 15, 2010 Robert 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
so the kids got this book in the mail called "lama lama mad at mama" sat down and read it with them. this little lama has a huge fit in the store throwing things spilling juice and then the mama dosen't even get after him, she cleans it up and buys him icecream cause the "poor thing" had to sit thru shopping all day. give me a break!!... that's one book that's going in the trash. the boys were like "what? she gave him icecream for acting like that?? geez!! that's not right!"
they kept telling me what the mama should have done...."take away his toys!" "not give him a treat!! especially no icecream!!" "make him clean that mess up himself and say sorry to the store!!" "teach him to be responsible for his own actions, don't reward him for being bad then he will just do it again next time. if that mama wants her lama to behave she better stop him and teach him that it's wrong to act like that." (my kids are all under age 6)
i was super impressed that my boys caught it and said that they thought "mama lama" was doing wrong by letting her baby lama get away with such a fit.
don't you love how the review on amazon says that "mama lama uses her expert parenting skills...." if you ask me someone that lets their child act like the lama did in the store and then rewards them for it is not using parenting skills at all. letting a child get away with something like that is not conductive to teaching them how to be an adult.
this book makes it seem like kids should be the boss and moms should cater to their fits.
lovely book July 6, 2010 Usmanpatel my daughter loves all these lama lama books. Its a nice book with rhyming words
