loved it, loved it,loved it! September 3, 2010 angela o donovan I gave the original shopaholic book quite a withering review but as i've got used to sophie kinsella's style of writing and more importantly her alter ego rebecca bloomwood i really enjoyed this bright, charming book. i think it had a lot more substance than the first book and a better storyline. all in all,a silly but entertaining read.
Exactly what I ordered August 31, 2010 Carol in Virginia 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is the first time I've ordered used books, so I was hesitant. However, when I received my books, they were in the condition as described and were delivered on time.
Left me excited for 3rd novel! August 9, 2010 Twisted Angel (Dallas, TX) I saw the movie before reading the books, and was surprised how much I enjoyed it considering I thought it would be total cheese. The books however are just as fun if not more than the movie. I get more time in the head of the shop obsessed Becky and her sticky situations. I can't wait to pick up the next book and see what new kinds of trouble she gets herself into.
Even funnier! July 24, 2010 Leeshie R (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) I loved Confessions of a Shopaholic so I couldn't wait to read Shopaholic Takes Manhattan. I have to say, I thought this book was even funnier than the first one! I was actually laughing out loud at various parts of this book! This whole series is perfect for summer reading. Becky is a delightful heroine and you can't help but root for her through all her sticky situations.
This is one of those books that I couldn't put down, yet I never wanted it to end - luckily there are several books in the series and a new one coming out shortly!
Amazing! March 29, 2010 Pi There's something about the shopaholic books that are incredibly fun and uplifting. I really love Becky and her way of thinking and although she goes through ups and downs, she is a very strong lady. A great read and I definitely recommend the entire series! I read it a little out of order but they were all wonderful!!
